Sloane has been singing in Indiana her whole life. She majored in Rock & Roll History at Indiana University and has been in four bands ever since, including The Pigeons of Market Square, all in Indianapolis. Sloane finds the stage a place of healing, expression, and joy, and music itself a universal soul she cannot wait to voice with her audience.
Don’t give up on your dreams. Charles only started performing a couple of years ago after retiring from the Navy. Never one to shy away from a conversation, Charles is engaging with the crowd and loves being on stage. Charles is an original Pigeon; he enjoys listing and signing music from a variety of genres, but he’s an eighties guy at Heart.
BK is a self-taught guitar player with an interest in the blues and classic rock. He enjoys keeping what he considers the best eras of music alive with his bandmates.
Andy or “Drew” is an Indianapolis based guitarist, singer, and published songwriter who has played original and cover music since the 1900s. He’s enjoyed performing live music at all the most popular Indianapolis venues and entertaining crowds everywhere he’s played. He’s also excited about being the newest Pigeon to enter the flock and looks forward to entertaining everyone everywhere.
Scott grew up in a musical household with rock, jazz, and classical influences. He survived several years of piano training and taught himself guitar and drums as a teenager. Scott resurrected his musical career several years ago when his wife urged him to “get out of the house and do something besides work and golf.” He was excited to help organize the “Pigeons“ band during the pandemic with fabulous like-minded musicians from the area.
Chris grew up wanting to play any musical instrument he could get his hands on. His musical interests are broad, but centered around improvisational rock, jazz, and jam bands. He is always trying to surround himself with other musicians that drive his inspiration and push his playing to the next level.
Born and raised outside of New York City, Drummer Cary Jerris has been playing percussion and drums from an early age. He grew to appreciate many genres and styles of music including Classic Rock, R&B, Soul, Jam Band, Indie Folk and Americana. Some of his favorite artists include Tedeschi Trucks Band, The Allman Brothers, Mt. Joy, Van Morrison, Marcus King, Springsteen, Tom Petty, Grateful Dead and many more. Cary plays with multiple bands in the greater Indianapolis area and is a founding member of Pigeons of Market Square. When not playing music he can be found loitering pickleball courts, walking his goldendoodle, or hanging with the flock.
